Student Success Statement(ANON)

"Your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds.. You can grow flowers, or you can grow weeds.." Anon I agree with this poem because the mind is an amazing thing and you’re the one who has control over what you think. In this metaphor your mind is the garden and you’re the one who decides what to grow, it's up to you whether you want to grow positivity or fill it up with useless negativity. This includes thinking negatively, which causes you to get nothing done.

What's On Your Mind?

Im thinking about college and what i plan to study, and how im going to pay for it. Im looking for information on financial aid and seeing if i qualify. Im somewhat worried but im going to try very hard these next few years.

This is so true. If all you can think about is accomplishing becoming a doctor, you will become a doctor because that is all your mind will focus on. Becoming a doctor will slowly become natural to you, and you wont stop until you accomplish what you constantly think about.

This is true, because if you only think of the right, you will never think of doing wrong. Never doing wrong, let you enjoy the good fruits of your labor.

Would you like to be a Genetic Counselor? Why? Or Why not?

I would not want to be genetic counselor because I don’t like the idea of my decision greatly affecting someone’s health.
