Student Success Statement (Dean Smith)

"I wasn't trying to leave a legacy.
I was trying to do what
 was right"
Dean Smith

Dean Smith was a humble man who became known as a legendary coach,  just by doing what is right. He saw all of his team mates as equal, regardless of their skin color, and made them live a life of choosing the right by not letting them do drugs, drink, and cuss. He is an amazing example of what choosing the right can get you.

"It's better to be alone than to be in bad company"

ANON

I agree with this statement because bad company is always bad to everybody. An example of this is gangs, gangs only want to hurt people and force you to do things that are bad, like smoke or drink. It'd be better to be alone than surround yourself with those type of people.
