What Roosevelt is saying in this quote is whenever you’re given a decision, it always better to choose the right decision. And this is true because if you do the right thing, nothing bad can come from it. One example of this was when I was in middle school and I was asked by a friend if I wanted to ditch class. I wanted to, but at the same time I knew it was wrong. I thought of the consequences of it, and what my mom would do if I got caught, so I declined. A few moments later him in the dean’s office for being caught.
