Duties and Responsibilities: Optical technicians use various
tools to read lenses for prescriptions, mount lenses, make modifications to eye
glasses, and examine broken lenses for original prescriptions.
Salary: $34,000
Education: There are no specific education requirements, but
certifications is recommended for better job oppurtunities.
Reflection: I would not consider being an Optical Laboratory Technician because it doesn't interest me.
